1. Purpose
This policy explains the rules applicable to payments, purchases, subscriptions, enrollments, cancellations, refunds, payment failures and related transactions for Hetuluka's educational services.
It applies to:
Online courses;
Recorded courses;
Live classes and batches;
Workshops;
Mentorship and academic services;
Subscriptions;
Digital educational materials; and
Other paid services offered by Hetuluka.
2. Digital Services
Hetuluka primarily provides educational services digitally through its website, applications and LMS.
Depending on the service, access may be provided immediately after successful payment or from a specified course/batch start date.
The access period, features and applicable conditions may differ by service.
3. Purchases Are Generally Non-Refundable
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, purchases made through Hetuluka are generally final and non-refundable.
This includes, where applicable:
Individual course purchases;
Recorded courses;
Digital educational materials;
Subscriptions;
Bundles;
Workshops;
Mentorship services; and
Discounted or promotional purchases.
No refund, credit, exchange or cancellation is automatically available merely because:
You changed your mind;
You no longer want the course;
You did not use the course;
You did not complete the course;
You could not attend;
You purchased the wrong course;
You did not use available features; or
You later found another course preferable.
The existing Hetuluka refund policy establishes the general no-refund/no-cancellation approach for digital purchases.
This rule is subject to any mandatory rights provided by applicable law.
4. Cancellation by Hetuluka
If Hetuluka cancels a live course, batch or scheduled educational service before it begins and cannot deliver the promised service, Hetuluka will generally provide a 100% refund for the affected purchase.
Where a refund is due:
It will generally be returned to the original payment method;
Processing time may depend on the payment provider and financial institution;
An alternative arrangement may be offered where appropriate and legally permitted.
The existing policy provides for a 100% refund in this specific circumstance and states that refunds typically appear within 5–7 business days depending on the financial institution.
5. Course & Batch Changes
A course or batch may be subject to:
Schedule changes;
Instructor changes;
Content changes;
Feature changes;
Rescheduling;
Replacement arrangements;
Temporary interruption; or
Other reasonable modifications.
Such changes do not automatically create a refund entitlement.
Where Hetuluka cannot deliver a specifically promised service, the applicable course terms and this Policy will determine the available remedy, subject to applicable law.
6. Subscriptions
Where subscriptions are offered:
The subscription period and price will be disclosed before purchase;
Cancellation may stop future renewal where the applicable plan permits;
Cancellation does not automatically create a refund for the current paid period;
Access may continue until the end of the paid period;
Access normally ends when the subscription expires;
Payment failures may result in suspension or cancellation.
Specific subscription terms displayed at purchase may apply.
7. Discounts & Promotional Purchases
Promotional purchases may include:
Discounts;
Coupons;
Seasonal sales;
Student offers;
Referral offers;
Organization offers;
Campaign pricing; and
Other special offers.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, promotional purchases are generally final and non-refundable.
Each promotion may have additional eligibility, expiry and usage conditions.
The existing policy also states that discounted/promotional purchases are generally not eligible for refunds.
8. Exchanges & Transfers
Courses generally cannot be:
Exchanged;
Swapped;
Resold;
Gifted; or
Transferred to another person.
A transfer may be permitted only where the applicable course/batch terms expressly allow it or Hetuluka separately approves it.
Any approved transfer may be subject to:
Availability;
Deadlines;
Administrative conditions;
Fees; or
Other restrictions.
9. Failed or Declined Payments
If a payment fails, is reversed, declined or remains unpaid, Hetuluka may:
Retry the transaction;
Restrict access;
Suspend the service;
Cancel an enrollment;
Cancel a subscription;
Recover amounts legitimately owed;
Restrict future purchases; or
Take reasonable fraud-prevention measures.
Access is not guaranteed until the required payment has been successfully verified.
10. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, Hetuluka may investigate the transaction and provide relevant transaction, account or service information to the payment provider or other appropriate parties.
During an unresolved dispute, Hetuluka may:
Temporarily restrict access;
Suspend an account;
Preserve relevant records;
Cooperate with the payment provider;
Investigate suspected abuse or fraud; and
Take other reasonable measures.
A successful chargeback does not automatically create a right to continued access to the purchased service.
Repeated abusive or fraudulent chargebacks may result in account restrictions or termination.
Legitimate billing errors will be handled separately.
11. Payment Providers
Payments may be processed through third-party providers, including Razorpay where supported.
Payment providers may have their own:
Terms;
Privacy policies;
Security measures;
Verification requirements;
Refund-processing procedures; and
Dispute procedures.
Hetuluka does not control every aspect of third-party payment infrastructure.
12. Taxes, GST & Invoices
Applicable:
GST;
Taxes;
Government charges;
Payment-related charges; or
Other legally required amounts
may apply depending on the transaction, customer, location and service.
Where applicable, Hetuluka may issue invoices, receipts or other transaction records.
Customers and organizations may be required to provide accurate billing and tax information.
13. Currency & Pricing
Prices may vary according to:
Course;
Batch;
Subscription;
Service;
Location;
Currency;
User eligibility;
Promotion; and
Other applicable conditions.
Supported currencies and payment methods may vary.
The price shown at the applicable checkout or purchase stage generally governs the transaction, subject to:
Clearly disclosed terms;
Promotional conditions;
Taxes/charges; and
Genuine pricing or technical errors.
14. Pricing Errors
Hetuluka attempts to maintain accurate pricing but errors may occur.
If a product or service is listed at an obvious technical, administrative or pricing error, Hetuluka may:
Correct the price;
Cancel the affected transaction;
Restrict fulfillment;
Notify the customer; and
Refund amounts actually paid where the transaction is cancelled.
Hetuluka is not required to honor an obvious pricing error where legally permitted.
15. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved:
Hetuluka may generally process it to the original payment method;
Processing time may depend on banks and payment providers;
Hetuluka cannot guarantee the exact date funds appear in the customer's account;
Additional verification may be required;
The refunded amount may be subject to the applicable transaction and legal rules.
16. No Physical Shipping
Unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular future service, Hetuluka's current educational offerings are delivered digitally.
No refund will be created merely because a user expects physical shipping where the purchased service was clearly identified as digital.
17. Parent/Guardian Payments for Minors
A parent or legal guardian may make payments on behalf of a minor.
The parent/guardian is responsible for:
Authorizing the payment;
Providing accurate billing information;
Understanding the applicable purchase terms;
Managing payment credentials; and
Ensuring that the purchase is appropriate for the minor.
Payment on behalf of a minor does not automatically change the refund rules.
Refunds generally remain unavailable except where required by applicable law or where Hetuluka cannot deliver the promised service.
18. Fraud & Unauthorized Transactions
If Hetuluka reasonably suspects:
Fraud;
Stolen payment credentials;
Unauthorized transactions;
Account takeover;
Payment manipulation;
Abuse of promotional offers; or
Other payment misconduct,
we may investigate and take reasonable protective action, including restricting transactions or accounts.
Where appropriate, information may be shared with payment providers, financial institutions, security providers or lawful authorities.
19. No Circumvention
Users must not attempt to obtain refunds, credits, access or financial benefits through:
False claims;
Payment manipulation;
Unauthorized chargebacks;
Account sharing;
Multiple-account abuse;
Promotional abuse;
Fraudulent representations; or
Other circumvention of Hetuluka's policies.
20. Exceptions Required by Law
Nothing in this Policy is intended to remove any refund, cancellation, consumer, payment or other legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Where applicable law requires a different outcome, the mandatory legal requirement will apply.
21. Policy Changes
Hetuluka may update this Policy when:
Services change;
Payment providers change;
Pricing structures change;
Laws change;
New subscription models are introduced; or
Business practices evolve.
The updated version will display a new Effective Date.
